Bucks Physical Therapy :: Bridget Sanphy

Bridget Sanphy, DPT.  Bridget is happy to be joining the Bucks Physical Therapy staff after recently graduating with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in August 2011.  Since 2009, she has experienced clinical practice in acute, rehab and outpatient therapy settings.  Bridget found her calling in outpatient Orthopedics, after being drawn to the field following her graduate courses encompassing McKenzie, Maitland, and Mulligan teachings.

Prior to attending Jefferson, Bridget graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Loyola University in Baltimore.  While pursing her degree at Loyola, Bridget played line defense for the Division I Women’s Lacrosse Top 10 nationally ranked Greyhounds.

In five years, Bridget hopes to become an Orthopedic and Maitland certified manual therapist.  Her interests are orthopedics and sports medicine.

Bridget is originally from Severna Park, Maryland, just 8 miles north of down town Annapolis.  She enjoys distance running and recently completed her second marathon this past November.  She also enjoys reading, baking, the great outdoors, and spending time with her family.  Bridget was married in May 2011 at Loyola’s Chapel in Baltimore and currently lives with her husband in Newtown, Pennsylvania.
